Addicted to stupid

Hi, my name is Brittany and I'm addicted to looking up stupid stuff on the internet.

I'm constantly looking at stupid stuff. One friend posts one picture on their fb, and then I have to search to find all of it. Like this 'planking' fad that is going around. I saw a picture on a friends profile and then I spend almost an hour looking up planking pictures, even tho most of them are just people laying on the ground.

I find myself constantly looking for these kind of stupid pictures:

But end up somehow finding something
so disturbing....*shudder*

Then I find something actually amusing which j
ust perpetuates this vicious cycle.

Hey, how are you?

"How are you?" It's the most common greeting right behind "hi".

However, I find it hard to say sometimes. The reason?

I don't mean it.

You run into someone and say "hey, how are you?" but you don't really stop to care how someone actually is. The most common response is, "good, how are you?" And you automatically say "good." Whether you're doing good or not.

Someday, I want to have the guts to tell someone the whole truth about "how I am". They ask me, "how are you?" and I respond, "well, my hair is frizzy, and that makes me sad. My hip hurts all the time, and I'm worried that something is wrong. I'm stressed out because my boss is out of town, which makes me the boss regent and that is a lot of work! My boyfriend is. . . "

You catch my drift.

It just makes me stop and wonder if people are doing as "good" as they say they are. Which would mean that most greetings start out with lies.

Just an interesting point to ponder the next time you run into someone.

New

Ok, Just started my blog page. Truly my sister inspired me. Not sure what where to start, and I don't want to bore anyone who decides to read this on the first day. So, I guess I'll just open with a few tidbits about myself.

First, I love meeting new people. Though, I'm crazy shy and self conscious, so I should say that I like to be introduced to new people.

I have a serious weakness for rockstars, meaning I never thought Jared Leto was cute until I saw him rock out on stage singing for 30 Seconds to Mars. And bikers, and I don't mean guys who ride plastic bikes. A guy on a Harley wearing leather makes me weak in the knees, even if he's 40.

Speaking of music, rock is my favorite. From classic rock; ZZ Top, Led Zepplin and CCR, all the way to modern rock; Three Days Grace (my favorite band), Tool
, and Evenesence. Don't get me wrong, I love going out and dancing to the latest Hip-Hop with my girlfriends, and I even have some country on my i-pod. But I'm a rocker in my soul.

I'm a party girl at heart. Don't be misled by the word "party" I'm not one of those crazy 24-7 party people. But I like to unwind on the weekends with my friends, having a few drinks around a bonfire or on a bar stool. As long as the music is good, and the people are
nice, I can have fun anywhere.

Horses are my life. I manage a boarding stable and take care of approx. 70 h
orses. I have one, his name is Rabbit. He used to be a racehorse at Canterbury Park, in Shakopee, MN. He's 5 and he's huge. My future plans all revolve around horses. I hope to help people train them someday. I do a sport called Eventing, it's usually called an Equestrian triathalon because it combines three phases where all the scores combine to an overall score. But more specifics on that later.

There's much more about me, but we'll have to get into that later, cause this post is getting long enough.
